Emilio Moreno: Emprendiendo la labor creativa como medio de búsqueda de un ápice de verdad en mí mismo y lo que me rodea, afronto una reflexión en torno al estudio del vacío como punto de partida más fiable ya que entiendo que el espectador –y yo-  podemos relacionarnos con nosotros mismos de manera más íntima y veraz en dicho contexto.  Como consecuencia, algunos trabajos han adoptado formalmente un aspecto que propone espacios de paz visual en contra de un uso narrativo o descriptivo de imágenes directas, cerradas o de rápida lectura. En otros, se proponen espacios físicos que permiten interactuar al público con esos entornos de la nada.
I approach the creative activity as a search of that tiny amount of truth in myself and in my environment. I carry out a reflection about emptiness, which is a more reliable start point in so far as we, the spectator and myself can relate to each other in an intimate and truthful way. As a consequence some of my works became formally spaces of visual peace as opposed to a narrative or descriptive style that offers direct, closed images or of easy lecture. In others I offer physical spaces that let the viewer to interact with those empty environments.

Paloma Ramírez: Con ‘nunca sabrá porqué’, Paloma Ramírez realiza un profundo, sensible y posiblemente doloroso viaje de introspección cargado de simbolismo. El cristal traslúcido por efecto del agua y la pintura, dos elementos clave en su vida adulta (vive en Casares, Málaga, pinta además de fotografiar), resume de manera magistral ese reflejo adulto de la bolsa amniótica que es la barrera de nuestro subconsciente, que insiste en hacerse presente para mostrarnos una imagen difusa de lo que somos, pero que a la vez se nos presenta como algo distante y en cualquier caso inalcanzable: la frustración de vernos sin reconocernos, de vivir sin estar seguros de si quién habita al otro lado del cristal es nuestro ser primigenio, el mismo qué sólo fue cien por cien él mismo tras esa bolsa amniótica que, al final lo sabemos, ya no habita.
“She will never know” is for Paloma a sensible and possible painful introspective journey loaded with symbolism. The translucent glass, together with water and paint, two key elements in her adult life (she lives in Casares- Malaga and she paints besides photographing) resumes in a mastery way that adult reflex of the amniotic bag, which is the blockage that keeps in attendance to show us a diffuse image of what we are, but that, at the same time, it presents to us like something distant and anyhow unattainable: the frustration of seeing ourselves without recognizing us, to live without being certain if the one who inhabits the other side of the glass is our primordial being, the same that was only fully himself behind that amniotic bag, and that we know that at the end he does not habit there any more.http://www.photo.net/photodb/member-photos?user_id=1461658, http://www.photocritiq.com/folders?userid=313;setid=2118

Mario Lopez. La fotografía me permite detener el tiempo, me permite intentar poner a prueba mi capacidad de percepción y me ofrece la posibilidad de soñar…Ella es mi “seductora”, me hace sentir libre y esclavo a la vez, da sentido a todo aquello que pasa a través del visor y que impacta en mi retina de manera fugaz pero contundente, permitiéndome poder crear mi propia interpretación de la vida.
Photography let me stop time, let me try my perception andmy abilities, besides offers me the possibility of dreaming. … She is my “seducer”, makes me feel free and slave at the same time, makes sense to everything that falls in the viewfinder and that hits the retina in a passing but blunt way, making possible to me to create my own interpretation of life.
