Mi interés por la fotografía es intimista. Desconfío de lo que ven mis ojos y trato de enseñar en mis imágenes la imagen que esquiva las correcciones formales de la retina. ‘Mortal’, consecuencia imprevista de un viaje por la Grecia no monumental en 2005, constituye mi primer uso de una Lomo, una cámara poco formal, no muy predecible, infantil y, a veces, de mirada desgarrada.

My interest in photography is intimist. I distrust of what my eyes see, trying to show in my images the image that eludes the formal corrections made by the retina. ‘Mortal’, the unexpected consequence of a trip to the no-monumental Greece in 2005, constitutes my first use of a Lomo, a little formal camera, not very reliable, childlike and, some times, of heartrending look.
