Álvaro Sánchez Montañés

• Alvaro Sanchez Montañés was born and grew in Madrid where he completed his studies at the Universidad Politécnica. When he was eighteen years old he bought a Zenith camera in "El Rastro" (a street second-hand market in Madrid), since then he never stopped taking photos. Nowadays he lives in Barcelona.

  His work has been exposed in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Sevilla, Mexico D.F. among other places. He has been award winner with several prizes like Epson photography award in 2009, International Photography award  2009 or the AENA Foundation first prize in 2012. His works are present in several private and public collections.
