Gregory Moutsios
Gregory Moutsios / TimeSilence Photography He was born in Proti, Greece in 1965 and is a graduate of the Mathematics Department of the Faculty of Science of the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki Greece. He works as a mathematics teacher and lives in Thessaloniki. He attended various Photographic Workshops and Seminars (1996-1998). Member of the photographic group “GROUP 13” of the Photographic Center of Thessaloniki (1998-1999) Co-founder of the photography group “ATROPOS” (1999-2002) Member of the Photographic Center of Thessaloniki. Artistic curator for Greece and Cyprus at Tagree.de for the project: “Greece by Greeks - The country through the eyes of the Greek Photographers” (May - August 2019) From February 2023 is the curator of the Thessaloniki Student Photography Exhibition, organized in collaboration between Photography Center of Thessaloniki and the school where he works. ( Vassiliadis School ) Founder of the group on Facebook: “TimeSilence Photography Friends” which aims to communicate photographers from Greece and abroad to create projects with a common theme as well as to exchange opinions and positions on the photographic reality today. Publisher and editor of the quarterly electronic magazine “TimeSilence Photography Friends” which hosts works of photographers or visual artists of the respective group, a portfolio of a selected photographer and usually an article related to art or art history.
